Health and Wellness

WINGS’ Holistic Health and Wellness pillar has been created to support women through these transitions with a whole-person approach to wellbeing. Using a biopsychosocial lens, we look beyond physical health alone to consider the interconnected roles of the body, mind, relationships, community and everyday living. WINGS supports women in strengthening their health span through every life stage — from menopause and midlife transitions to caregiving, ageing and beyond. By addressing women’s physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing, we empower them to live well, age well and continue thriving with confidence, vitality and purpose.

WISE is WINGS’ flagship programme under the Holistic Health and Wellness pillar.
Designed to support active ageing, WISE helps women move from awareness to action through structured health assessments, personalised care planning, lifestyle support and ongoing community engagement. The programme focuses on early identification, personalised health planning, lifestyle intervention, empowerment, self-management and peer support.
W.I.S.E. uses an Integrated Approach which combines two evidence-based frameworks:
- WHO’s Integrated Care for Older People (ICOPE) → Enables early identification of declines in intrinsic capacity
- Lifestyle Medicine (LM) → Targets modifiable lifestyle risk factors to improve overall health
